TAKING AN IDEA FROM INCEPTION TO COMPLETION CAN BE A DAUNTING TASK!
While most music producers have no issue starting songs...finishing them can be a bit more of a challenge. Come spend a weekend surrounded by producers, working to realize your art! The focus of the weekend is to create an environment where your ideas flourish with guided instruction from ECS's own Dave Gluskin. This retreat will center around ALL aspects of making music, not just the technical side. Getting a workflow that is right for you, finding your sound, allowing yourself to be creative within your space, finishing projects...all just as vital as knowing which knob to turn or button to press.
Attendees will need:
Laptop Computer
Headphones
Ableton Live (or other DAW*)
Your ideas and creative energy
PRIOR to the retreat, each attendee will have:
One Zoom call Dave to discuss goals for weekend and areas of interest
One Zoom call with all attendees to meet the group and discuss collective goals and flow of the weekend
AFTER the retreat, each attendee will have:
One Zoom call with all attendees 2-3 weeks after the retreat to discuss learnings and share songs with the group
One private one-hour Zoom call with Dave to review and expand on learnings and close any gaps in knowledge
